I joined OSL Cutting Technologies in 2016 as a Mechanical Engineering apprentice at the Burgess Road factory. I’ve really enjoyed my time at OSL, and I have learned a lot. We have a great team and there are big opportunities for progression. In 2020, I was promoted to the role of Turning Team Leader and given the responsibility to ensure that my cell performed as expected. I’d definitely recommend working at OSL to any aspiring Mechanical Engineers’

I joined the Owen Springs team after leaving school in 2013. I’ve learnt a lot in various roles within the spring trade such as assembling, heat treatment, despatch, preparation work, production/despatch supervisor roles and gained some real hands-on experience. In 2021, I was promoted to Operations Support – a more office-based role. In this new role I oversee the health and safety of the facility, quality of production, maintenance of the machinery and more. It is something that I am really enjoying and I’m thankful for the opportunity!
